Your privacy matters to us. This is a plain-language explanation of how Aevon handles your information.
The Short Version
- We never sell your data — not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone.
- Your creative work belongs entirely to you.
- We only collect what we need to run the service.
- We use usage data to understand our users and make Aevon better.
What We Collect
Account information: Your email address and the name you choose when signing up.
Your content: The manuscripts, characters, worlds, comics, and other creative work you save in Aevon. This is stored securely and is yours to export or delete at any time.
Usage data: Anonymous, aggregated information about how features are used — things like which sections of the app are opened most, how long sessions last, and which features are rarely touched. This helps us decide what to build next. We never tie this data to your identity for external use.
How We Use It
We use your data only for these purposes:
- Providing and maintaining your account and your saved work
- Understanding how people use Aevon so we can improve it
- Sending product updates, changelogs, or important notices (you can unsubscribe anytime)
- Responding to support requests
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or selling to third parties.
Your Content & Copyright
All creative work you produce in Aevon — your manuscripts, characters, worlds, comic scripts, lore, and ideas — is your intellectual property. We do not claim any rights to it. We do not read it, share it, or use it for any purpose other than storing and syncing it for you.
Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We use Supabase for our backend infrastructure, which follows SOC 2 security practices. We retain your data as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your data.
Third-Party Services
We use a small number of trusted services to run Aevon: Supabase (database & auth), Vercel (hosting), and Vercel Analytics (anonymous usage stats). None of these services receive your creative content. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any ad tracking.
Your Rights
You can at any time:
- Export all your data and content
- Request a copy of any personal data we hold about you
- Delete your account and all associated data
- Opt out of product emails
